Buy discounted gold. Refine. Sell at market.
Physical gold from artisanal and small-scale mining in Africa is routinely available below the international spot price. Bridging that discount requires fraud prevention, export navigation, AML/CFT compliance, specialist payments and insured logistics that are not available off the shelf. AURMEX has built the complete infrastructure to execute it, discreetly and repeatably.
Bridging the Gold Discount Gap
The discount stems from limited local financial infrastructure, the absence of international distribution networks, and the complexity of export compliance, secure logistics and cross-border settlement. Sellers accept below-market prices for a reliable, prompt, legally compliant buyer.
The professionals behind AURMEX have built the complete infrastructure to bridge this gap — from direct mine relationships through insured logistics to licensed UAE refining and buyer networks.

Specialist capabilities, not off the shelf.
Fraud Prevention
Goods substitution (tungsten-filled bars, laundering scams) is documented in ASM gold. AURMEX avoids advancing funds where possible, or uses bank guarantees releasing payment only after refinery assay.
Regulatory Navigation
African export spans multiple agencies, export taxes and weeks of documentation, requiring experienced in-country partners with government relationships.
AML / CFT Compliance
A Singapore PSPM dealer faces fines up to S$75,000 per breach and possible imprisonment. Compliance is a core operating competency, not a box-ticking exercise.
Payment Processing
Receiving and remitting funds across high-risk African jurisdictions requires specialist banking and payment partners unavailable to ordinary traders.
Insured Logistics
Specialist precious-metals cargo insurance is a niche product requiring established relationships with dedicated underwriters.
Buy low, refine, sell at market.
The economics are straightforward. The execution is what creates the edge.
Why Singapore
On 27 March 2026, MAS and the SBMA jointly announced a plan to strengthen Singapore's gold ecosystem, with DBS, ICBC Standard, JPMorgan, UBS, UOB, SGX and the World Gold Council in the working group.
Favourable Corporate Tax
Flat 17%, with Start-Up Tax Exemption: 75% on the first S$100K and 50% on the next S$100K of chargeable income for qualifying companies.
Zero GST on Investment Gold
Gold refined to ≥99.5% qualifies as Investment Precious Metal (IPM) and is zero-rated for GST, a direct structural cost advantage.
PSPM Regulatory Regime
The PSPM Act 2019 provides a robust, internationally aligned AML/CFT framework, giving counterparties and regulators a credible compliance baseline.
Respected Jurisdiction
Not on any FATF blacklist, not a tax haven, and recognised as a well-regulated banking centre, avoiding double-taxation complications for HNW participants.
